About

For the purposes of this blog, here is a bit of information about me…
I’m Dr. Keri E. Pearlson, an expert in the intersection of information systems strategy, organizational design and business strategy. I’m a graduate of Stanford University (BS in Mathematical Sciences and MS in Industrial engineering) and Harvard Business School (DBA in Information Systems) and have authored several books including:
–Author of Managing and Using Information: A Strategic Approach (Our 4th edition comes out early 2009)
–Author of Zero Time: Providing Instant Customer Value - Everytime ,All the Time!
I’m the President and Founder Partner of KP Partners (website is under revision). I spend my professional time researching, teaching, and consulting. Most of my current consulting work is designing, developing and delivering executive workshops in the areas of my expertise. My flagship program was designed for The Concours group, later renamed nGenera (a product of the merger of The Concours Group with BSG Alliance and a number of other companies). It’s the Concours IT Leadership Development Program, co-designed with my colleague, Dr. Jim Cash (Retired Professor from Harvard Business School, and Board member of a number of very large companies). It’s a program for ‘next generation CIOs’ from large, multinational corporations. I also developed and directed several other programs for nGenera, including the ITLDP Alumni program (the LAN), the Concours Executive Forum, and the Relationship Manager Professional Development Program.
My professional passion is to help senior IT execs develop a point of view on topics of strategic importance to their business. My 3 key areas of interest are strategy formulation/leadership development, enterprise 2.0/global collaboration, and eco-information systems/sustainability.
